The client’s aim for the renovation and extension of this tired Queen Anne Federation house is to create a modern residence for an active family of three. Replanning and renovating the original part of the house will revitalize the existing features, while reorganizing smaller spaces into functional accommodation. A ‘solid’ extension to the rear removes a poorly conceived 80s extension, providing an open plan pavilion containing living, dining, kitchen and service functions.
